Import process and fees

Fees are payable in 2 parts.

Japan fees are payable immediately after purchase and the UK fees are due when the vehicle arrives in port. I have arranged it this way to give our customers more flexibility.

There is lots of charges in Japan and in the UK. We will show you all charges from the auction in Japan to your local port, nothing is hidden. All receipts and paperwork will be shown to you.

All you need to do is add your bid price to the green box, Change the recycle fee to match the auction condition sheet and add your shipping cost using the shipping estimator above.

Transport can be arranged to anywhere in the UK (very competitive rates)

Our fee is fixed and you will only pay the same as any importer would plus our fee of 4% (min £150.00)

We will make ALL the necessary arrangements from bidding at auction and translating condition sheets to clearing the vehicle ready for collection from the UK port.

If your car is over ten years old you will only need an MOT to register it with DVLA. (We can arrange your MOT if needed)

If your vehicle is under ten years old you will need a model report and an ESVA to register with DVLA. We can advise you for free or arrange everything or part for an extra fee.

Registration with DVLA is currently £38.00 GBP.
